Pine Shortcut for Windows is in its final signing review. Until the signed installer is published here, the download button on the home page shows the installer as being prepared. To be told the moment it is ready, email contact@pineshortcut.com with the subject "Waitlist" and we will write to you once.

System requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
• macOS: coming soon, not available yet
• An internet connection only for account login and sync; typing snippets works offline
• No administrator rights are needed for normal use

Install steps

• Download the installer from this page when it is published and check that the publisher name is shown.
• Run the installer and follow the steps. The program starts in the notification area.
• Open the program, choose Log in, and enter the code sent to your email. The Free plan has no ads and works on one PC with up to 5 snippets.
• Type a trigger such as /hi followed by Space in any app to expand your snippet.

Verifying the file

Each release lists a SHA-256 checksum on this page. Compare it with the checksum of the file you downloaded before you run it.

Updates and uninstall

The program checks for new versions on its own and asks before installing. To remove it, use Settings, Apps, Installed apps. Your snippets stay in your account until you delete the account.
